Modeve POS can connect to receipt printers so you can print customer receipts after a sale.
The app typically supports:
Bluetooth printers (most common for mobile devices)
USB printers (on some Android devices with adapter support)
Make sure your printer is compatible with mobile POS systems and is fully charged or powered on before connecting.
Turn on your Bluetooth receipt printer.
On your phone or tablet, go to the device’s Bluetooth settings and pair the printer.
Open the Modeve POS app.
Go to Settings → Printer (or Hardware / Devices).
Tap Add Printer or Select Printer.
Choose the paired Bluetooth printer from the list.
Tap Save or Connect.
Once connected, the printer should appear as the selected printer in settings.
After connecting, look for a Test Print or Print Test Page option in the printer settings.
Tap it to send a test receipt.
Check whether the printer produces the test page correctly.
If the test print is successful, the printer is ready for use.
If you have more than one printer available:
Go to Settings → Printer.
Select the printer you want to use.
Set it as the Default Printer.
The app will use this printer when you tap Print on a receipt.
Problem | Possible Solution |
|---|---|
Printer not showing in list | Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and the printer is paired |
Connection fails | Restart both the printer and the device, then try again |
Test print does not work | Check paper, battery level, and printer power |
Prints garbled text | Confirm the printer is compatible and properly selected |
If you continue to have problems, restart the app and re-connect the printer. You can also contact Modeve Support for further assistance.
