Project templates and duplication

Project Templates save huge amounts of time, especially for recurring work like opening new learning centres or running standard marketing campaigns. Modeve supports both templates and easy project duplication.

1. Using Project Templates

What are Project Templates?
Pre-built project structures that include common tasks, subtasks, milestones, and settings.

How to Create a Project Template

  1. Create a normal project with all the standard tasks you usually need (e.g., “New Learning Centre Opening Template”).

  2. Complete the structure (tasks, subtasks, labels, assigned roles, etc.).

  3. Go to project Settings (inside the project).

  4. Look for Save as Template, Mark as Template, or Convert to Template.

  5. Give the template a clear name and description.

  6. Save it.

How to Use a Template

  1. Go to Projects+ New Project.

  2. Choose Start from Template.

  3. Select your saved template.

  4. Customize:

  5. Click Create.

The new project will come with all tasks and structure already in place.

2. Duplicating an Existing Project

Fast way to copy a completed or ongoing project:

  1. Open the project you want to copy.

  2. Go to project Settings or click the ⋯ menu.

  3. Select Duplicate Project or Clone.

  4. Choose what to copy:

  5. Enter new project name and dates.

  6. Click Duplicate.

Tip: Using templates can reduce setup time for new projects from hours to minutes — highly recommended for franchising operations.
